• Shillong Lajong FC sign Brazilian Forward Uilliams Bomfin from J League 2 side Sports Club Sangamihara.
• Sahara Calcutta Football League: The match between Kingfisher East Bengal and Kalighat Milan Sangha had to be called off due to bad lights after 76 minutes when East Bengal were leading 4-1 thanks to goals from Mohan Sarkar(Own Goal 3rd), Alvito(Pen 14th), Joaquim Abranches(30th), Vasum(44th). 
• Goa Pro League: Wilfred Leisure 2-1 Santa Cruz
• Sahara Calcutta Football League: Prayag United SC start their CFL campaign tomorrow against George Telegraph while Mohammedan Sporting face Bhawanipore SC, both matchs tomorrow, 9th September.
