Minerva Academy held off LoneStar Kashmir in a five goal thriller in the Second Division I-League 2015-16 Final Round. Kareem Omolaja Nurain scored a wonderful hat-trick to keep the Punjab based side in hunt for an I-League qualification.

Minerva Academy FC, having played a game more are now within a point gap from favorites Dempo SC, who play Mohammedan next.
