| East Bengal defender Arnab Mondal fined 1 Lakh and suspended for two matches |
East Bengal defender Arnab Mondal was found guilty of using aggressive/abusive language against Mohun Bagan forward Cornell Glen and thus, is suspended for the next two i-League matches. In addition to the suspension, Arnab Mondal has been fined 1,00,000 INR which is to be paid within 7 days.
Shankarlal Chakraborty, the assistant coach of Mohun Bagan has also been fined for using offensive language against the match officials in the Kolkata derby on 2nd April 2016. Shankarlal Chakraborty will also have to pay 50,000 INR, which has to be paid within 7 days.
