India U-17 World Cup Squad who are on an exposure trip to South Africa emerged victorious against SuperSport United FC U-18 in a friendly match played on Friday, 19th February 2016. Suresh gave India the lead in the lead in the 19th minute from a corner. India made it 2-0 in the 39th minute through Ninthoi's calm finish after collecting a long ball from Dheeraj. Supersports United equalized through two quick goals, in 47th and 53rd minute. Indian colts however kept the spirit high and took the lead in the 59th minute through Aniket, with Sanjeev providing the assist. Komal made the scoreline 4-2 in India's favor after slotting the ball home from a Aniket through ball. The thrashing was complete in the 74th minute, Saurabh’s header found the back of the net following a long ball from Sanjeev. The scoreline ended 5-2 in India's favor. This victory comes after India U-16 team lost 4-1 to Tuks U-19 Sports Team in their first match of their exposure trip to South Africa.
