Mumbai FC held Mohun Bagan to a goalless draw at the Cooperage. Sanjoy Sen's team had a chance to grab a good lead over Bengaluru FC and East Bengal, with more games in hand but the Mariners were cautious at their approach right from the beginning. The game had few half chances but neither side could break the deadlock. Mohun Bagan remained third in the league table with 11 points having played 2 games fewer than Bengaluru FC(15 points) and East Bengal(14 points).

Bengaluru FC were ruthless at home demolishing the DSK Shivajians FC 4-1. Sunil Chhetri, Seong Yong Kim, Shankar Sampingiraj and Seminlen Doungel scored for the Blues while Sampath Kuttymani scored DSK Shivajian's only goal of the match on the stroke of half-time. Title challengers, Bengaluru FC are positioned at second place with 14 points in 7 games and they face the defending champions Mohun Bagan in a crucial encounter at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on 13th February.
