Mohun Bagan failed to get all three points against Shillong Lajong FC at home despite having more clear cut chances to grasp a big lead at the top. Shillong Lajong FC took the lead in the first half when Konsham Singh nodded the ball home in the 30th minute. Konsham found himself alone in front of an empty goal after Mohun Bagan defense failed to deal with a corner. While the first half belonged to Shillong Lajong FC, Mohun Bagan went all out for all the three points in the second half. Jeje Lalpekhlua finished a fine move in the 59th minute from a Bikramjit pass after some good work down the left by Sony Norde. Mohun Bagan had some great chances to emerge victorious as they struck the woodwork in final moments of the game but could not find the winner. Mohun Bagan move to top of the table with 15 points, same as Bengaluru FC and with a game in hand.
