Viva Kerala renamed to Chirag United Kerala

After purchasing major stakes at Viva Kerla, Chirag United Sports Pvt Ltd decided to rename the Kerala based i-league club to Chirag United Kerala.While some players of the previous team i.e. Viva Kerala will stay, new signings will be done soon. Subrata Bhattacharya has been named as the Technical Director of the club while K Unnikrishnan will continue to be the coach. Chirag United Kerala will play their home matches in Cochin itself while they will train at Kolkata ahead of major tournaments.
