SAFF U-16 Championship:India defeats Nepal to book title clash against Pakistan

                                               
India U-16 defeated Nepal U-16 to set up a title clash against arch rivals Pakistan in the SAFF U-16 Championship.The semi final clash between the neighbouring country was decided via penalties where the Indian team excelled with a 4-2 scoreline. The match ended with a 1-1 scoreline after the regulation time after Nepal drew first blood when Rishi Thapa scored in the 20th minute while India equalized in the dying moments of the game through Nitin Jyal.

Meanwhile, other finalist, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh 2-0 in the other Semi-finals. The final between the two teams will take place on 10th August.
