India vs Japan

Indian U23 team will be facing the Asian giants Japan in the pre-quarter finals of Asian Games 2010. India had a rough road when they lost the first two matches of group stage against Kuwait and defending champions Qatar before getting a superb win over Singapore to qualify for the round of 32.

It will surely be an uphill task for Sukhwinder's team but the spirit of the boys are very high. Speaking to the the-aiff.com Sukhwinder said, ‘’ We are going with the full squad. We are very much aware that we are up against an experienced side, but the boys have performed and played very well in the last three matches and will surely go with much positive approach tomorrow,’’.
‘’ There is no underdog in the modern day football and we are not overawed by their name. If we play a combined football with the same spirit what we have shown in the last games, we will certainly give our best shot in tomorrow’s match,’’ added Sukhvinder.

The match might be telecasted on Ten Sports. The scheduled time for the start is 1:00PM IST.
