Salgaocar FC appoint Norberto Gonsalves as Head Coach

Salgaocar FC announced the signing of Norberto Gonsalves as their new Head Coach for the upcoming season.

Having started off as Assistant Coach with Salgaocar FC from 1995 – 2000, Norberto has gone on to coach various clubs around the country over a period of 20 years. Prior to becoming a coach, he was at the heart of the SFC defence for 12 years captaining the team to glory in the 1989 Federation Cup. Norberto brings a wealth of experience as a former top level player and will be a huge asset to the Greens for the upcoming season.

Speaking about his appointment, the 58 year old remarked, “I am really excited about joining Salgaocar FC as it is my former club as a player and has a great reputation. I am looking forward to the challenge.”
