Sporting Clube de Goa registered their first victory in the Hero i-League 2015-16 season, defeating Aizawl FC at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Aizawl. Goals from Nicholas Fernandes and Loveday Okechukwu saw the goan side register all three points away from home. Sporting took the lead after some poor defending from the home side allowed Nicholas Fernandes to slot the ball home in the very first minute.  Loveday Okechukwu scored from a stunning long ranger to secure the win for the Flaming Orange.
