Churchill Brothers sign Costa Rican Cristian Lagos till end of season,

Churchill Brothers have completed the signing of Costa Rican striker Cristian Lagos for the rest of the season. Cristian Lagos is currently playing for Deportivo Saprissa which plays at Costa Rican Primera División, the top most tier of Costa Rican Football pyramid. The 29 year old forward is expected to join the defending i-League champions squad from January. Cristian Lagos, was on loan at Santos de Guápiles FC, Primera División Invierno of Costa Rica from Deportivo Saprissa.

Cristian has represented Costa Rica twice on International stage and managed to score his only International goal against Nicaragua in the Copa Centroamericana.

Churchill Brothers who are struggling at the bottom of the i-League table would hope that the Costa Rican forward would provide them the much needed awareness in front of goal, which is what they are lacking severely this season scoring the least number of goals among all the i-League clubs.
