AIFF lifts Mohun Bagan ban

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has overturned the 2 year ban imposed earlier and have in-turn handed a fine of Rs. 2 Crore. Earlier the fine was imposed on McDowell Mohun Bagan withdrawing their team from i-League clash against arch rivals Kingfisher East Bengal mid-way after the half time. Mohun Bagan will be re-starting their pursuit of saving themselves from relegation with no points in their account. Much to the delight of the supporters of the Mariners, the club officials Anjan Mitra(Club Secretary) and Debashis Dutta(Financial Secretary) have been suspended by AIFF.
