Steve Darby Resigns from Head Coach post of Mohun Bagan

Steve Darby resigned

Steve Darby, who was appointed the coach of Mohun Bagan team for this season, has resigned from his post. Steve Darby was under constant pressure to quit his post after his teams poor show in the first tournament of the season, Federation Cup. Darby's decision came after Mohun Bagan Management decided to form a three member Technical Panel under which Darby will have to do his job, and it was learnt that things did not went well with Steve Darby over this issue and he was unhappy with the formation of the Panel. Bernard Operanazie who was the assistant coach under Steve Darby has been appointed the interim coach for the meantime.


Subrata Bhattacharya, Might be the next Mohun Bagan Coach


Now that Steve Darby has resigned from the post, Several names are making the rounds to fill up the vacancy and Subrata Bhattacharya is leading the bunch.
