KC might release Chhetri

Sunil Chhetri might be released from his MLS club Sporting Kansas City. In an interview with Peter Vermes, he stated out that Sunil's status will be updated in the next few weeks, hinting his exit from the Major League outfit to empty his international slot from Sporting Kansas City. This might open Sunil's gate for A-League side Perth Glory who have shown interest in the Indian forward. Sunil has only made two appearances for the MLS side, once representing them for 45 min. in US Open Cup and once in a friendly against Manchester United.
