Rangers FC sign Indian Women's Footballer Bala Devi



Scottish football giants Rangers FC have signed Indian women's footballer Bala Devi. This is a historical move, subject to International clearance, for an Indian footballer as she becomes the first Indian women's footballer to be signed by a professional club outside India and the first Asian International footballer to be signed by Rangers FC.

Bala Devi had earlier impressed the Rangers FC coaches during her trial in September 2019. deal was announced in Bengaluru FC's home ground, Sree Kanteerava stadium in Bangalore.

The 29 year old Indian ace, Bala Devi hails from Manipur and is widely regarded as one of the best Indian women's footballer having scored 58 times in 52 matches.
