Indian youngsters lost 3-1 to Tanzania in their second match of the AIFF Youth Cup 2016. Despite starting brightly Tanzania's team looked in better shape and control. Tanzania went into the break with a 2-1 lead. Maziku Amani scoring the first with a sweet right-footer in the 20th minute, while the second coming in the form of an own goal from Sarif Khan as he tried to intercept a cross. Kamal Thatal, who scored in the match against Malaysia got on the scoresheet when he found himself with an open net in front of him in the 36th minute.

South Korea 3-0 Malaysia

SK: Kim Chaewoon(24th), Park Jeongin(34th), Jeon Wooram(90th)

Any hopes of a comeback were dashed by Tanzania as they scored soon after the half time resumption. Asad Ali scored through a fine free-kick from just outside the box. Two goals in the first half - Kim Chaewoon and Park Jeongin scoring one goal each and an injury time goal from Jeon Wooram gave the South Korean side a comfortable victory. Malaysia were reduced to ten men when Xsevier Felex was given the marching orders.

In the other match South Korea made a winning start to their campaign with a thumping 3-0 victory over Malaysia in the AIFF Youth Cup 2016.

India will next face USA on 19th May 2016 (Kick-off at 8 PM IST).
