Darryl Duffy's free kick proved decisive as Salgaocar FC pushed their bid to survive the relegation battle, defeating Aizawl FC 1-0 at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. The scottish striker scored his 11th goal of the season in the 32nd minute. Aizawl FC have now just one game in hand with 13 points in 15 matches and are prime contenders for relegation.
