Mariners confirm top spot in Group G

Mohun Bagan scored a late equalizer to grab the top spot in the AFC Cup 2016 Group G match against Maziya Sports & Recreation on Wednesday, 28th April 2016. The victory was crucial for Bengaluru FC's qualification as it ensured their progress to the knockout stages with a game in hand. Bengaluru FC are in second spot with 9 points from 5 matches and will remain in the same position irrespective of the outcomes of the final group stage matches. Ashley Westwood's men will travel to Malaysia to play Johor Darul Ta'zim on 11th May.
