Federation Cup 2016 Final to be held in Srinagar,
AIFF Technical Committee meeting decisions

Following decisions were taken by the All India Football Federation(AIFF) Executive Committee in the meeting which took place at the AIFF headquarters in Dwarka, New Delhi on Monday, 14th March 2016.

• An advance sum of Rs. 20 lakhs was granted for refurbishing of the Barasat Stadium which is presently the Home ground for both Mohun Bagan and East Bengal in the Hero I-League. The sum paid as an advance is to be repaid back by the IFA within 365 days.
• Sub junior final round will be held in Delhi from April 10 onwards and the Committee was also given a detailed presentation on the forthcoming format of the Coca Cola Cup (U-16 Championship).
• Abhishek Yadav was announced as a member of Technical Committee.
• Final of the Federation Cup will be held in Srinagar in May 2016.
• A proposal was laid to have an U-13 I-League and AIFF will be working in close association with the appointed Technical Officers of the State Associations for developing and laying the process for the same.
• Three member committee was setup to decide on the proposed affiliation process for Lakshadweep.
