India 1-2 Nepal

While Indian Women's team thrashed Nepal to win Gold, Indian Men's National Football Team could not repeat similar feat as they lost the finals to Nepal 2-1.

Halicharan Narzary gave India the lead in the 31st minute after a dominating first half from the Men in Blue. The goal came through the penalty spot after Ananta Tamang brought down Udanta Singh.

Nepal however dominated the second half and converted their chances. Prakash Thapa (66th) and Nawayug Shreshtha (72nd) scored the two goals for the Gorkhalis. Rowlin Borges should have scored the equalizer for Team India but he failed to connect his header properly from few yards into an empty net. The scoreline remained 2-1 in Nepal's favour till the final whistle as India yet again failed to grab the Gold medal.
