Mohun Bagan put on a solid shift at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru defeating Bengaluru FC 2-0 with second half goals from Jeje Lalpekhlua and Sony Norde. An exciting encounter on and off the field with the home side being backed by a ferocious West Block Blues, while the Green and Maroons got an astonishing support from the loud and well prepared, Mariners@Bangalore. Both sides were unable to break the deadlock in the first half but the game came to life in the second half. Bengaluru FC were down to 10-men when Lalchhuwanmawia was given the marching order in the 61st minute. Jeje Lalpekhlua's clever chip broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute while Sony Norde sealed the game late in the second half.

Sporting Clube de Goa defeated Mumbai FC 3-2 in a thrilling five goal encounter at the Fatorda Stadium, Goa in the Hero i-League encounter. Odafa Okolie scored from two spot kicks after Nicholas Fernandes scored the equalizer in the 24th minute. Sushil Kumar Singh scored on both halves but proved insufficient to stop the Flaming Orange from picking all three points.

Salgaocar FC picked up their first victory of the Hero i-League 2015-16 season defeating DSK Shivajians with Darryl Duffy scoring a match winning brace while T. Haokip also chipping in, DSK Shivajians did give Santosh Kashyap's men a late scare with Sushil Kumar Singh scoring a brace but Salgaocar held on to clinch all 3 points.
