Bhutan 0-3 Bangladesh
Bangladesh: Topu Barman(8th), Shakawat Rony(Penalty 24th, 67th) 

Bhutan were convincingly beaten by Bangladesh in the inconsequential Group B tie. Topu Barman opened the scoring in the 8th minute when he headed home from close range after Mamum's corner was guided to his path by Yeasin. Bhutan's Chimi Dorji was shown marching orders following which Bangladesh doubled th lead from the spot through Shakawat Rony. Shakawat Rony scored the third goal for Bangladesh and his second when he latched onto a long ball to apply the finishing touch in the 67th minute.


Afghanistan 4-1 Maldives
Afghanistan: Faysal Shayesteh(20th), Omid Popalzay(34th, 54th), Ahmad Arash Hatifi(51st)
Maldives: Ali Fasir(32nd)

Defending champions, Afghanistan showed their ruthless character breezing past Maldives in the top of the table group B clash. Afghanistan opened the scoring in the 20th minute through skipper Faysal Shayesteh after a defensive chaos by Maldives. Ali Fasir scored the equalized in the 32nd minute after rounding the Afghan custodian. Afghanistan however restored the one goal lead two minutes later when Omid Popalzay scored through a direct free-kick. After half time, Ahmad Arash Hatifi scored a wonderful goal in the 51st minute to give Afghan a 3-1 lead. Three minutes later, the game was put to bed by Omid Popalzay who scored his second of the game.

Defending champions Afghanistan will play Sri Lanka while Maldives will play against hosts, India in the semi-finals.
