Transfer Zone: Salgaocar SC sign Australian Sean Rooney

Salgaocar SC have completed their player of Asian quota after announcing the signature of Australian forward Sean Rooney. Sean Rooney last played for Indonesian club Deltras FC. Sean Rooney was heavily linked with East Bengal this season. Sean Rooney has been capped at the junior level(U-20) for Australia. Sean came through the youth ranks of Sydney FC and made his debut in the A-League for Newcastle Jets. The Australian Rooney who is only 23 has a good goal scoring record along with a solid built of a forward. He was with Karim Bencherifa's team for a week and he featured in three friendly games where he scored in each of the games.
