Salgaocar SC sign Spanish Filipino forward Angel Guirado

Spanish-Filipino forward Angel Guirado has completed his move from Global FC, Philippines  to i-League club Salgaocar SC. The lanky Phillipines international has signed a one year deal with the Federation Cup Champions. Because of his ancestry, Guiardo has represented the Philippines team in the AFC Challenge Cup 2012 held in Nepal.

Angel Guirado came through the youth ranks of Malaga FC and later played for "B" teams of Athletico Madrid (2005-06) and Deportivo de la Coruna (2006-07). After several stints with 2nd and 3rd division Spanish teams, Guirado moved to Global FC of Philippines.

Coach Karim Bencherifa was quote saying, "Angel is a tall player with good physical presence and competent skills; he will give me lot of options as a striker”.
