Nehru Cup 2012: India to Play Cameroon in the finals

Maldives 1-3 Cameroon
Maldives: Abdul Akram(26th)
Cameroon: Kingue Mpondo(12th,39th), Ebanga Bertin(P 50th)

After Maldives were beaten by much stronger Cameroon side, India automatically qualified for the finals of the mega event organized by the All India Football Federation. India had a chance to confirm their place in the finals in their previous match itself against Nepal but the spirited Nepali team held India for a draw which meant Maldives had a chance to sneak in if they could manage a draw or win against Cameroon which was not to be. India will play Cameroon side in back to back matches - once in the last round robin match(31st August) match and then in the finals(2nd September).
