Nehru Cup 2012 Preview: India face Maldives Challenge

Nehru Cup 2012
India vs Maldives
Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium
25th August 2012
Kick Off: 7 PM IST

After defeating Syria in a rain affected match, India will have to take on Maldives who are fresh from a victory against Nepal. It would be what team strategy is followed in this match especially after the cautious approach that Blue Tigers made initially in their previous match against Syria. It has always been a close encounter between the South Asian countries and one can expect no less than a good match when the two teams face each other at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. Rain could also be a factor this time around. Both teams has had similar results against their opponents with a scoreline of 2-1. Maldives skipper Ali Ashfaq will be the man to watch out for as he has always been the leader from the front for the Red Snappers. Indian fans will hope that their skipper Sunil Chhetri and Subrata Paul continue from where they left in the Syria match after some inspired performance from them. Indian coach Wim Koevermans will have his plan chalked out after having the facility of video analyst to analyze their opponent.

The match will kick-off at 7 PM IST and will be shown Live and Exclusive at Neo Prime.

Live streaming Links of the match will be posted on the blog before the start of the match if possible.
