Indian Goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu to go for EPL side Wigan Athletic trials

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu gets Wingan Athletic Trial

East Bengal and India U-22 Goalkeeper, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu has been offered a trial for English Premier League side Wigan Athletic. The trial has been made possible by John Burridge (commonly known as Budgie), a well known football expert and an ex-goalkeeper himself. He was in contact with Gurpreet from quite some time and gave Gurpreet necessary tips whenever required. The two were spotted together alongside Oman and Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi in the AFC U-22 Championshhip Qualifiers also.

Though Gurpreet Singh Sandhu does not comply to the requirements of getting the work permit from UK Government, he might have the pleasure of getting loaned to other clubs if he manages to impress the coaching staff of Wigan Athletic.
