Savio Medeira Appointed as the Head Coach of Indian National Team

Savio Medeira, Head Coach, India

Savio Medeira, who has been an assistant coach of the Indian National Football team for quite a some time, has been given the opportunity to coach the Indian team. He has been officially appointed as the Head Coach for Indian National Team till May 2012.

India will play under him in the two Friendlies against Malaysia which will take place on 13th(Guwahati) and 16th November(Kolkata).

India's squad for the double headed friendlies is:


Goalkeepers: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Karanjit Singh, Subhashish Roy Chowdhury.

Defenders: Raju Eknath Gaikwad, Jaspal, Sameer Naik, Mahesh Gawli, Debabrata Roy, Anwar Ali, Syed Rahim Nabi, Gouramangi Singh.

Midfeilders:  Mehtab Hossain, Baldeep Singh, Rocus Lamare, Mehrajuddin Wadoo, Francis Fernandes, Climax Lawrence, Anthony Periera, Clifford Miranda, Jewel Raja, Steven Dias, Lalrindika Ralte.

Forwards: Baljit Singh Sahni, Jeje Lalpeklua, Sushil Singh, Joaquim Abranches, Sunil Chhetri.
