Indian Goalkeeper Subrata Paul fined for Violent Conduct

Subrata Paul Fined By FIFA

It is the first time when a Indian Footballer has been fined by the World Governing body, FIFA. Subrata Paul has been handed a fine of worth Rupees 3,36,000 for his violent conduct in the World Cup Qualifiers against United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Abu Dhabi.

It was learnt that Subrata Paul damaged the refrigerator and broke the window after he was given the marching orders in the match. Subrata Paul has to pay the fine by 27th November 2011. Subrata Paul has the right to appeal against the fine.
