India thrash Maldives in SAFF U-16 Championship and grabs semis slot


                                                   
Indian U-16 team grabbed the semi-final slot in the SAFF U-16 Championship after thrashing Maldives 5-0 in their second and last group stage match played at the Dashrath Stadium, Katmandu, Nepal on Friday,5th July. For India the scorers were Daniel Lalamlpuia(31'),Raja Rawat(36'),Vanlalduatsanga(45+2',54'),Prakash Mojumdar(63'). Indian coach Thomas Joseph was pleased with his boys performance and credited his boys for utilizing and adjusting to the conditions which led them for the big victory just before the Semi-Finals. Indian team will play their semi finals against Nepal on 8th August.
