Pune FC to face Blackburn Rovers in an exhibition match

Pune FC is all set to meet the Lancashire based English Premier Side Blackburn Rovers in a exhibition match at the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune on 22nd July at 7PM IST. The match will be one of a kind clash, as its the first time any EPL team will be coming to Indian soil and face a I-League side. Earlier the Premier League side invited the UB Groups owned East Bengal side, but Coach Morgan was not pleased with the proposal as he would have been without the services of his key players. Steve Kean's side will move straight to Hong Kong to play the Asian Trophy.
