India will have a tough task in their hands when they face Qatar in an International Friendly against West Asian outfit Qatar in the Al-Sadd Stadium, Doha, Qatar as a part of their preparation for the World Cup Qualifiers against UAE. While Qatar are hot favorites for the tie, India will be looking to test out more players as Armando Colaco is still looking to get his starting XI fixed for the World Cup Qualifiers against UAE.

Qatar's Serbian Coach Milovan Rajevac would want no less than a convincing win against the Blue Tigers as they are strong contenders for qualifying among the Asian Nations. Under him, Qatar have recently drew with Russia (1-1).

Indian team will have to come up with a much improved show from what they managed last time against Maldives when they were held to a 1-1 draw against the lower ranked side. India must come up with an inspired performance to avoid any humiliation against the 94th Ranked Nation.
Subrata Paul is given the Captain's responsibility

Last Time Around Indian forwards got some goal bound opportunities last time around against Maldives, but this wont be the scenario this time around against Qatar. Coach Armando Colaco will be looking to make few changes to the starting line-up. Subrata Paul will be captaining the side this time around. He would play a key role in the outcome of the match.
