Blackburn Rovers Postpones its trip to India

Blackburn Rovers Trip Postponed
due to Security Concerns

Much to the dissapointment of Indian Football Fans, Blackburn Rovers have decided to postpone their schduled tour of India, where they were scheduled to play an exhibition match against Pune FC. The reason behind postponing the match is being linked with the security concerns because of the recent terrorist attacks on Mumbai, where the Premier League team was scheduled to land.

This will hurt the Indian fans very much as the match had a historical value to it, since it would have been the first time any Indian Club would have faced a Premier League Club in their home land. Promos and advertisements were already published for the match.

The Blackburn Rovers team were also scheduled to play in a U-16 tournament where Blackburn Rovers players would have played alongside the young kids.

Blackburn Rovers owners and the club realed a statement saying that they are looking forward to the trip to India in a few weeks of time.
