Three teams fail to meet the AFC Licensing Criteria

Three i-league clubs HAL, ONGC and Air India are set to be relegated this season after failing to meet the AFC Club Licensing Criteria because of being a Public Sector Units(PSU). The relegation will mean that three teams will be promoted from the i-League Second Division. The Pro League Meeting which is scheduled to be held on Wednesday in the Capital under the Chairperson AFC President Mohammed Bin Hammam are all set to accept the proposal. The three teams are reportedly unhappy with the decision and it is being learned that they wanted some more time for fulfilling the AFC Club Licensing Criteria.
