Terry Phelan,44, who is a former Chelsea and Manchester City left-back, joined the SESA Football Academy, Goa this week as a mentor to the players and a coach educator on a three-year contract.
Though Terry was born in Manchester City, England, he represented Ireland at the International level.Terry has also played for well known English teams like Fulham, Everton, Leeds United. While playing for Wimbeldon Terry has won the FA Cup in 1988 beating Liverpool in the finals.
With big names such as Terry Phelan coming here, Indian football is surely going to gain heavily.
