AFC Challenge Cup 2012 Qualifiers: India draws against Turkmenistan

Indian team came from a goal behind and managed to get a draw against Turkmenistan side in their last AFC Challenge Cup 2012 qualifiers encounter. The first goal was scored by Turkmenistan defender from a spot kick on 52nd minute of the game while for India, the red hot Jeje scored in the 60th minute of the game to make the scoreline 1-1. The scoreline is encouraging considering India did not field their entire first XI players with Sabeeth upfront with Sunil Chhetri.

Jeje who has created a lot of buzz since his debut, thus scored his 4th goal in only his 3rd International appearance for his country. India thus topped group B with better number of goals scored after both were tied in points and goal difference.
