East Bengal beat Mohammedan to reach finals of Mohammedan's Platinum Jubilee Cup

East Bengal defeated Mohammedan to reach the finals of Mohammedan's Platinum Jubilee Cup. The only goal came through a penalty Kick on 90+2' on the clock from Sanju Pradhan of East Bengal. Ex- Indian cricket captain Saurav Ganguly also played for Mohammedan Sporting and it has to be said, he did a commendable job upfront creating some great passes which were not really capitalized. Ganguly played for57 minutes before being substituted. Chirag United's Joshimar along with Durand Cup hero Mohammed Rafiq was also a part of the Mohammedan team as the rules allowed them to do so.
