Bengaluru FC's AFC Champions League 2017 dream came to an end after losing narrowly to Jordan's Al-Wehdat SC in the Preliminary Stage 2 one legged tie. Ahmad Maher Wridat(48th) and Faisal Mohammad Seif(65th) scored for the home side while Sunil Chhetri(68th) scored the only goals for Bengaluru FC.

Bengaluru FC will now be shifting their focus on a much more familiar territory when they gear up to play in the AFC Cup 2017(Group E), having finished as runners up in the last edition of the tournament.

Al-Wehdat will travel to Abu Dhabi to face Al Wahada of UAE for a spot in the group stages of the prestigious AFC Champions League.
