Second Division I-League 2016-17 Kicks Off

Second Division I-League 2016-17 kicked off earlier today when Fateh Hyderabad AFC defeated Pride Sports 2-0. The second division features twelve teams split into three groups of four each.

Four teams are making their debut in the second division - Pride Sports (Madhya Pradesh), Real Kashmir FC (Jammu & Kashmir), Sudeva Moonlight FC (Delhi) and Ozone FC Bengaluru (Bengaluru).

Group A: Sudeva Moonlight FC, Real Kashmir FC, Lonestar Kashmir FC, Delhi United FC
Group B: Hindustan FC, Southern Samity, Neroca FC, Mohammedan Sporting
Group C: Ozone FC Bengaluru, Pride Sports, Fateh Hyderabad FC, Kenkre Sports

Top two teams from each group will proceed to the national finals where each team will play the other on home and away basis.
