| Churchill Brothers SC reinstated back into I-League |
All India Football Federation(AIFF) Emergency Committee decided to reinstate Churchill Brothers Sports Club into the Hero I-League 2016-17 with a commitment to fulfill the licensing criteria as stipulated in the order dated November 28, 2016 by the Hon'ble Delhi High Court. The order directed the governing body of Indian football to take into account the track record and history of Churchill Brothers while considering their representation.
