SC Goa pulls out of I-League

Sporting Clube de Goa officially announced their withdrawal from Hero I-League 2016-17. The club announced in their official website that they were not pleased with the roadmap laid out by AIFF and their marketing partners.

The club also stated that the decision to pull out of the I-League is tactical and the club will continue their grassroots level work with their youth teams while also maintaining a strong senior team.
