AIFF to assess players from U-16 Youth League for U-17 World Cup team

All India Football Federation will be organizing three scouting camps spearheaded by former Indian International Abhishek Yadav, the current Director of All India Football Federation(AIFF) in a bid to strengthen the U-17 Indian squad for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017.

AIFF has requested all the 55 participating clubs playing in the U-16 Youth League to nominate three players each from their roster.

“It gives us an opportunity to see the three best Players of respective Teams playing in the League. With the advent of the U-15 Youth League, we tapped on to more talents last year. Now this scouting program will definitely churn out more talents ahead of the World Cup, which is less than 12 months away from now," said Abhishek Yadav, who is also the Chief Operating Officer of the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017.

Three camps have been scheduled to further assess the players:
19th-20th November 2016, Kolkata
25th-26th November 2016, Goa
28th-29th November 2016, Delhi
