Indian Football team moved up 11 places to 137th rank in latest FIFA rankings

Team India moved 11 places up the FIFA ranking ladder to be placed at 137 in the FIFA rankings as released on 20th October 2016.

The upward surge was because of the fantastic victory over then 114th ranked Puerto Rico in the official friendly played on 3rd September 2016 in Mumbai which saw the Blue Tigers getting 230 points from the match. This is India's best FIFA ranking position in around six years.
