India crash out of the BRICS U17 Football Tournament after a spirited performance against Brazil. India lost the game 3-1 but won many hearts with their never-say-die attitude. Brazil took the lead in the 2nd minute from Brenner Silva's effort from outside the box. The Blues backed by the entire crowd equalized in the 19th minute as Komal Thatal cut from the left side before finding the back of the net with a curler. Marcos Santos however restore the Brazilian lead in the 30th minute as Brazil went into the break with a 2-1 lead. The game was sealed in favour of the visitors when Vinicius Oliviera scored the third goal in the 82nd minute.
