BFC: Eugenson Lyngdoh (35th - From a rebound)

Bengaluru FC failed to move to top of the Hero i-League after being held by an inspired DSK Shivajians FC side in the Hero i-League tie played at the Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune on Wednesday, 6th April 2016. Bengaluru FC took the lead through midfielder Eugeneson Lyngdoh, when the 2015 AIFF Player of the Year slotted the ball into the net after Sunil Chhetri's strike was parried by Subrata Paul into the midfielders path. Bengaluru's joy was however short lived as the home side scored the equalizer moments later through Aser Pierric Dipanda. The striker applied a deserved finish to a quality ball from Spanish midfielder Juan Quero. Though the match had some good brand of attacking football with Dipanda coming very close late in the second half to get the winner, but the scoreline remained 1-1 at full time.
