Shillong Lajong FC honor Indian boxing icon Mary Kom

for the Indian Boxing Icon

Shillong Lajong Football Club today presented a personalized Lajong Jersey to Indian Boxing Legend and Pride of the North East, Magnificent Mary Kom.

Shillong Lajong FC's presented the iconic Mary Kom with a small token of our appreciation for being a torchbearer to sports enthusiasts from the North East and the entire nation.

Mary, who has been a massive inspiration to people from all walks of life throughout the country and the entire Shillong Lajong FC greeted and wished her and all the other participants the very best in the upcoming 12th South Asian Games 2016, which will take place in Shillong and Guwahati in February.
