India U-19 National Football Team defeated the visiting Thailand's Chonburi FC side by a 2-1 scoreline in their final home match of the FAM-FRENZ Asia Champions Trophy 2015 played at the Tilak Maidan in Vasco, Goa on Wednesday, 14th October 2015.

A late goal by the Indian skipper Daniel Lalhlimpuia saw the Indian team coming out of the match will all three points and giving them a great chance to qualify from Group A.

The Indian team face Malaysia’s Frenz United A in their next game away from home on 22nd October 2015 and will need a point to secure qualification to the next stage of the tournament.

India starting XI against Chonburi FC: Sayak Barai (GK); Shahbaaz Khan, Sajid Dhot, Sarthak Golui, Nishu Kumar; Lalramzuava, Rakesh Oram, Ashique (79’ – Suman Sarkar), Malsawmzuala (83’ – Moinuddin), Daniel Lalhimpuia (C), Milan Basumatary ( 63‘ – Bidyananda Singh).
