After a good performance in the U-16 AFC Qualifiers in Tabriz City, Iran, India U-16 team preparing for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 which will be held in India are now having an exposure trip in Spain.

The team registered victory in their first friendly match against Elche U-16 in a game played on Thursday, 24th September 2015. Ninthoi gave India the lead when he cleverly chipped over the onrushing rival keeper in the 34th minute. Aman scored the other goal in second half to give India a 2-0 victory over Elche U-16.
