The signing is one of its kind as this is for the first time in history that an announcement has been broadcast worldwide during English Premier League(EPL). In the West Bromwich Albion aginst Chelsea Pre-Match show, Malouda spoke with the TV host John Dykes about his new signing with DDFC. Malouda was unveiled with a welcome message on the LED Boards at “The Hawthorns”.

The fleet footed French footballer is known for his tricky dribbling and creativity. The winger was not only the chief architect for his team but also pitched in crucial goals throughout his illustrious career with Lyon and Chelsea.The 2006 World Cup finalist has scored 9 goals in 80 appearances for ‘Les Bleus’. Malouda had a successful career at Lyon where he played from 2003-2007 and won four consecutive Ligue 1 titles. Right after, he moved to London and donned the Chelsea colours. Florent Malouda had an important role in winning the Premier League in 2009-10 and theUEFA Champions League in 2012.
On joining Delhi Dynamos FC, Florent Malouda said, "I am extremely excited for my new innings and to join forces with Roberto Carlos. India has great football talent and a league like ISL will bring the certain amount of interest and will help develop Indian football. I look forward to give my best to the league and make the Delhi fans proud."
Roberto Carlos, Marquee player-manager Delhi Dynamos, said, "Malouda is a classic player and brings with him years of world class experience.
